Ron and Janet celebrated their 60 years wedding anniversary on April 8th 2018
Ron & Janet would like to thank everyone for there kind thoughts & generous donations for there chosen charities Katharine House Hospice and Air Ambulance, instead of Gifts, they raised £410.55

| Janet started working for Mr & Mrs Ruck-Keen as a nanny at Manor Farm Syresham in 1953, while Ron was Living in Long Meadow (next door) working as a farm labourer. After a short romance they married in Syresham church on the 5th April 1958. A small wedding compared to todays weddings, With the reception in the school, (class 3/4 now) as no other venues available. Wedding food was supplied by Mrs Wilks from the Bell Inn and Murial Wilks made the cake.
They honeymooned in ‘The Brackley Hotel’ for one night.
Married life started in a caravan on Freddie Cox’s farm in Crowfield, in 1960 they purchased there first house Rose Cottage, Crowfield for £750.
Two daughters later, 3 granddaughters, 4 great granddaughters, the family is still growing.
