Mar 3rd 2019 Superfast fibre broadband coming to Syresham Parish

Following has been lifted from the Parish website ... re fast broadband

Posted: Fri, 01 Mar 2019 16:40 by Samantha Hosking

SUPERFAST FIBRE BROADBAND COMING SOON TO HOUSEHOLDS THROUGHOUT SYRESHAM, CROWFIELD AND PIMLICO

As part of the central government's plans to roll out superfast broadband to UK rural areas, Gigaclear have been awarded the contract to provide superfast fibre broadband networks to rural communities in Northamptonshire.

Works in the parish of Syresham are due to start at the end of March. There will be some disruption while the cables are laid in narrow trenches. Some temporary footpath and road closures will be necessary during the works, which could last for approximately 8-12 weeks.

The new network will mean that most residents will have the option to access this new, faster fibre broadband.

Residents should start to receive letters from Gigaclear from 8th March onwards. The letters will give more information. In the meantime there are some FAQ leaflets available either from Syresham Post Office or from the Parish Clerk. The PDF of the Frequently Asked Questions Leaflet is also on Gigaclear's website, www.gigaclear.net/wp-content/uploads/networkbuildfaqs.pdf

If residents have any additional questions please contact Gigaclear directly: Email networkbuildcare@gigaclear.com Tel 01865 591137 Or for more project information please visit https://www.gigaclear.net/ specifically www.gigaclear.net/superfastnorthamptonshire You can also contact the Parish Clerk on 01280 851178 parishclerk@syresham
